This is the best comedy experience in San Francisco and is a must watch. Underground and intimate, the show takes place in the stunning theater of the beautiful Lost Church.

The Setup was started in Feb 2015 in San Francisco as a monthly comedy show. Since then it has expanded to become a national comedy brand with several shows a week across different cities. In the past 7 years, over 100,000 people have attended our shows. We are known for creating immersive speakeasy-style comedy experiences and curating the best comedians from all over the country. Our lineups include comedians who have appeared in The New Yorker, Netflix, Comedy Central and HBO.
