We found out earlier this year—after years of speculation—that the Bears will, in fact, remain in Chicago and move forward with plans to build a new stadium and complex to accommodate Chicago's football team. In a press conference Wednesday morning, the team released new renderings of the planned complex.

Images show an expansive complex with a fixed roof and the new stadium situated where the current South Parking lot of Soldier Field stands. The original columns from Soldier Field will remain standing.

The upcoming project aims to expand open areas by almost 20%, incorporating all-season, freely accessible plazas, pathways, and landscaped green spaces that grant access to the lakefront. This initiative hopes to transform the area into a year-round community resource that is accessible and enjoyable for all.

The plan promises to reimagine transit access, expand food and beverage offerings, and build an impressive entertainment district while providing sweeping views of Chicago’s skyline and lakefront, along with world-class culinary and entertainment offerings.
